FAQ

Are these real people’s CVs?

No. The names, employers and figures are fictional. Use the shape of the page, then replace every line with work you can explain.

Which example should I read?

Read the role closest to the job you are applying for. The how-to pages walk through the writing steps, and the cover letter examples show what not to copy onto the CV.

Do these pages cover every job?

Not yet. The examples cover customer service, software engineering, retail, graduates and administration. The same rules apply elsewhere: British spelling, no photo, and evidence you can defend.
